The Legacy of Kornel Morawiecki
Maciej Lisowski’s political engagement is inseparably linked to the figure of Kornel Morawiecki (1941–2019) — physicist, opposition leader, founder of Fighting Solidarity, and Marshal Senior of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (9th term). For three years, Maciej Lisowski served at his side as assistant and director of his parliamentary office, becoming a close collaborator and a continuator of his political vision.
Following Kornel Morawiecki’s death, Maciej Lisowski assumed the role of President of the Kornel Morawiecki Institute of Thought — an organisation dedicated to cultivating and developing the intellectual and patriotic legacy of the Marshal Senior.
