Fr. Col. (Ret.) DS, Associate Prof. Maciej Lisowski, DBA, EMBA

Introduction

Maciej Lisowski (born 1977) is a lawyer, entrepreneur, publicist, associate professor, and civic activist with many years of experience in public, political, and business life. For more than fifteen years he has led the LEX NOSTRA Foundation for the Promotion of Mediation and Legal Education, whose mission is to support crime victims and to provide legal education to citizens. As a clergyman he holds the dignity of Father and Director of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary (ZNMP); in the military domain he holds the rank of Colonel (Reserve) of the Diocesan Service (DS). An active commentator on public life and the author of books and articles, he has appeared since 2011 in Polish and international media as an expert on law and security.

Education

Maciej Lisowski is a graduate of higher-education programmes in law, economics, and national security. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree and two independent Executive MBA diplomas — one in management and one in the energy sector — obtained at the WSHIU University of Applied Sciences in Poznań.

 

He has completed more than twelve postgraduate courses in law, economics, and security at seven different Polish universities. His most recent and ongoing programmes (WSKZ Wrocław, 2025–2026) include: Business Valuation and Financial Modelling; Economic Analysis and Controlling; Compliance in the Organisation; Restructuring and Recovery Management; Mediator Profession; and Forensic Audit.

 

In 2026 he will complete the certified AML/CFT Auditor programme (PIKW — Polish Institute of Internal Control).

Social and Foundation Activities

LEX NOSTRA Foundation for the Promotion of Mediation and Legal Education

Maciej Lisowski founded the LEX NOSTRA Foundation in 2010 and has served as its Director for over sixteen years. The Foundation’s mission is to assist individuals who have been wronged by crime or the legal system, and to provide broad-based legal education to citizens. In 2016, the Foundation filed a report in a high-profile international corruption case; after nearly a decade of proceedings, the case resulted in an indictment (PAP, April 2026).

Kornel Morawiecki Institute of Thought

He serves as President of the Institute, which preserves and promotes the intellectual and political legacy of the founder of Fighting Solidarity and former Marshal Senior of the Polish Sejm.

Three Seas Foundation

As a co-founder and Board Member of this international organisation, Maciej Lisowski actively participates in initiatives connecting Three Seas region countries across political, social, and economic dimensions.

Political Activity

He serves as Regional Representative for Lower Silesia of the All-Poland Federation “Non-Partisan Citizens and Local Activists” (BiS) and as BiS Expert on Reform of the Judiciary, Special Services, Civil Rights, and State Institution Oversight.

He is Vice-President of the Stronnictwo Pracy (Labour Party) — rooted in Christian democratic tradition — and Vice-President of the Wolni i Solidarni (Free and Solidary) Party, founded by Kornel Morawiecki.

In April 2026, at the Programme Congress in Kakolewnica, Dr Marek Woch announced Maciej Lisowski as the number-one candidate on the electoral list for the Wroclaw constituency in the 2027 parliamentary elections.

Parliamentary experience:

From 2016 to 2019 he served as personal assistant to Marshal Senior of the Polish Sejm Kornel Morawiecki and as Director of his parliamentary office in Warsaw. From May 2020 to November 2023 he was personal assistant to Member of Parliament Lech Kolakowski and Director of his Warsaw parliamentary office.

Business Activity

He serves as President of the legal firm LEX NOSTRA Sp. z o.o., President of a public relations company, and President of the IT and media company LN Media. He also heads several other business entities. His managerial expertise spans corporate management, restructuring, compliance, and legal-business advisory services.

Media and Journalistic Activity

Since 2011 he has been a regular expert and commentator on numerous television and radio stations, as well as in online and print media. In the period 2012–2016 alone, he made over 500 media appearances.

He is the author and co-author of books, including “Prawo i Piesc” (“Law and Fist”) (Zysk i S-ka Publishing, 2018). He contributes investigative articles to the International Business Times and serves as a regular independent contributor to Gazeta Obywatelska, Rurociagi, and Dziennik Trybuna. He holds the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Psychologia w Teatrze Zycia” (“Psychology in the Theatre of Life”).

Pastoral Activity

He holds the title of Father (General) and Director of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary (ZNMP). In the military sphere, he holds the rank of Colonel (Reserve) DS.

International Experience

In 1997 he served as an international observer in the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. In September 2017 he participated as an international observer at the Kurdish independence referendum. His involvement with the Three Seas Foundation reflects his ongoing commitment to regional politics and European security.
