Foundation for the Promotion of Mediation and Legal Education LEX NOSTRA
The Foundation for the Promotion of Mediation and Legal Education LEX NOSTRA has been operating since 2010 as an independent non-governmental organisation. For over 16 years, it has stood up for victims of crime and those lost in the complexities of the legal system. The Foundation was established by Maciej Lisowski — lawyer, mediator and public advocate for civil rights.
The Foundation was built on the conviction that law should serve people — not the other way around. Over the years it has become a recognised voice in public debate and a real source of support for those who need it most.
Mission and Objectives
The mission of the LEX NOSTRA Foundation is to protect the rights and dignity of citizens through legal assistance, education and the promotion of mediation as an alternative means of dispute resolution.
- Support for crime victims — legal, informational, and emotional support
- Support for victims of the legal system — standing by those harmed by systemic failures
- Legal education for citizens — making legal knowledge accessible to all
- Promotion of mediation — an effective, faster, and more affordable alternative to litigation
