Maciej Lisowski (born 1977) — lawyer, economist, national security expert, University Professor, Colonel (Reserve) D.S., clergyman, and Director of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Founder and director of the LEX NOSTRA Foundation — a public benefit organisation providing legal, psychological and social support to people harmed by the justice system, victims of crime, persons with disabilities and their carers. The Foundation has for years conducted interventions in public offices, the administration and courts as a social actor, alongside educational and media activity in the area of the rule of law and civic rights. He holds degrees in law, economics, and national security studies. His academic credentials include a DBA, two Executive MBA diplomas — in management and in Energy Management — as well as eight postgraduate programmes spanning: business valuation and financial modelling, economic analysis and controlling, compliance in organisations, restructuring and corporate recovery management, mediation practice, forensic auditing, agriculture, and energy auditing, completed across seven institutions of higher education. He also studied social psychology at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Szkoła Wyższa Psychologii Społecznej) in Warsaw under the supervision of Full Professor Zbigniew Pietrasiński, PhD habil. He also holds certificates of completion in digital forensics (certificate nos. 7/AW/CF/2025 and 8/AW/CF/2025) and OSINT (open-source intelligence, certificate no. 67/AW/2025) training programmes organised by the Akademia Wywiadu (Intelligence Academy), as well as a certificate of completion of the School of Business Law and Chinese Culture programme at the WSB — National Louis University (WSB-NLU) in Nowy Sącz (certificate no. 49/2025/2026). Certified internal auditor — holding a Polish Institute of Internal Control (PIKW) certification (certificate no. 13247/T) — and a certified energy auditor registered in the Central Register of Energy Performance of Buildings of the Ministry of Development and Technology (no. 44375), and a member of the Association of Energy Auditors (ZAE, membership card no. 4392).

Founder and Director of the LEX NOSTRA Foundation. President of LEX NOSTRA Sp. z o.o. law firm, the IT and media company “LN Media”, a public relations firm, and a number of other ventures. President of the Kornel Morawiecki Institute of Thought and a member of the Board of the international Three Seas Foundation.

Vice-President of the Christian-Democratic Labour Party ‘Stronnictwo Pracy’ (founded in 1937), Vice-President of Wolni i Solidarni (Free and Solidary, founded by Kornel Morawiecki), advisor to the Board of the National Federation Bezpartyjni i Samorządowcy on the reform of the judiciary, the special services, the observance of civil rights and oversight of state institutions. Advisor to the Chairman of the BiS Federation, Dr Marek Woch. Plenipotentiary of the National Federation Bezpartyjni i Samorządowcy for the Lower Silesia Region and parliamentary candidate in the 2027 elections from the Wrocław constituency.

In the years 2016–2019, he served as parliamentary assistant on a pro bono basis to the Senior Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Deputy Kornel Morawiecki, and as Director of his parliamentary office in Warsaw. In the years 2020–2023, he served as parliamentary assistant on a pro bono basis to Deputy Lech Kołakowski and as Director of his parliamentary office in Warsaw. As an international observer, he participated in a mission to the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (1997) and in the independence referendum in Kurdistan (September 2017).

Journalist and commentator, author of the book “Prawo i Pięść” (“Law and Fist”) (2018) and numerous press publications. Since 2011, he has regularly appeared as an expert commentator on numerous television channels, radio stations, and in print and online media. He served as a regular columnist for the dailies Gazeta Obywatelska, Rurociągi, and Dziennik Trybuna. As a researcher also engaged in social psychology, he served as a columnist and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Psychologia w teatrze życia” (“Psychology in the Theatre of Life”), published by Prof. Zbigniew Pietrasiński.
